Is this really what we do in high school?? I think it’s time our teens find a hobby.

Four Millbrook High School students were charged Friday with vandalizing Leesville Road High School the night before the schools met in a football game.

An arrest warrant issued by Raleigh police states that spray painting on sidewalks, signs and walls and throughout Leesville’s Marshall Hamilton Stadium caused $2,500 worth of damage.

Pictures taken by Leesville’s student newspaper The Mycenaean show the letters “MHS,” word “Wildcat” and paw prints spray painted on a wall that seniors are allowed to paint and on the sign, press box and field goal posts at the stadium.

Conner Dingman, Spencer Lacivita, Jameson Lincoln and Yasin Montazeri – all aged 17 – were all charged with injury to real property, second-degree trespassing and misdemeanor conspiracy. A Wake County magistrate said that all four are students at Millbrook.

All four suspects were released from the Wake County jail Friday after meeting separate $4,000 bonds. They were scheduled to appear in court Monday.

The Mycenaean reports that parents, art students and a dozen maintenance workers from three high schools cleaned up the vandalism before the Friday night game.

Leesville (9-1) beat Millbrook 32-7 to remain undefeated in conference play. Millbrook (6-3) dropped to 1-3 in Cap-8 conference play.
