In honor of Black History Month, here’s something powerful that occurred in Black History.
The Fifteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution is ratified on February 3, 1870. This Amendment prevents the governments of the United States from denying a citizen the right to vote based on “race, color, or previous condition of servitude” (i.e., slavery). In other words, Black People CAN vote.
