UNEMPLOYMENT RATE IN THE TRIANGLE CONTINUES TO RISE

SHOWTIME SAYS…
The unemployment rate in the Triangle continues to rise. Last month the number of people without jobs jumped to 8.8 percent from 8.7 percent in August. This is the highest that the rate has been since February 2010.
Not only is the unemployment rate on the rise in the Triangle, state wide the rate rose to 10.5%. The national rate held steady at 9.1% last month.
