February 11 – Jive Records released the soundtrack to the New Line Cinema film “Dangerous Ground”, on this day in 1997.
The film starred Ice Cube and Elizabeth Hurley. The soundtrack featured songs from Jay-Z, Spice 1 and Too $hort, to name a few, as well as Ice Cube himself on the hit single “The World Is Mine.”
The soundtrack also featured an all female posse cut with MC Lyte, Bahamadia, Nonchalant and Yo Yo called “Keep On Pushin’.”
