February 23rd – Naughty By Nature released their third album, the platinum selling “19 Naughty III” on Tommy Boy Records, on this day in 1993.
The album spawned the hits “Written On Ya Kitten”, “It’s On” and the classic anthem “Hip-Hop Hooray”, whose video was directed by Spike Lee.
The classic set also featured guest appearances by Freddie Foxxx and the late great Heavy D.
