Following the opening night of the latest Batman movie, “The Dark Knight” a gunman reportedly stood in front of a theater and fired into the crowd. 14 people were killed (10 on the scene and 4 at nearby hospitals) and at least 50 people were injured during the incident. No motive has been released as of yet, however, the gunman is currently in custody.
