The NCAA came down hard on Penn State after the Jerry Sandusky sex abuse scandal. The punishment includes the loss of all wins from 1998 to 2011, a $60 million fine, a four year ban on postseason games, the loss of 20 scholarships per year over four years and five years probation. Student players are allowed to immediately transfer if they would like.

The big question is whether the punishment is fair or too harsh. A lot of the students on campus have voiced that they felt the punishments were a little over the top.
