Last night, Jim Boeheim of Syracuse won his 900th career victory when the third-ranked Orange beat visiting Detroit!!!!!! The ending score was 72-68. Duke coach Mike Krzyzewski & Louisville’s Rick Pitino congratulated Boeheim VIA big screens inside the dome as the crowd rejoiced. Coach K & Bob Knight are the ONLY other men division 1 coaches to win that many games. Boeheim’s first victory was in 1976 against Harvard.
