An arrest has finally been made in the shooting death of 15-year-old Hadiya Pendleton. Just days after performing at the Presidential Inauguration, Hadiya was shot as she and a group of friends sought cover from the rain in Vivian Gordon Harsh Park in Chicago. Michael Ward, 18, and Kenneth Williams, 20 were arrested a day after her funeral. 18-year-old Ward confessed to police that he and Williams mistook Pendleton’s friends for gang members who shot and wounded Williams last July but neither man has confessed to being the shooter and no weapon has been found. They are due in court today for a bond hearing.
