Today has been a roller-coaster of a day for the family, friends and fans of MTV‘s “Buckwild” star Shain Gandee. The 21 year old was first reported missing on Easter Sunday and sadly was discovered inside of his truck today, which was submerged in mud. Gandee was with two others and the official word seems to be they all have passed away from carbon monoxide poisoning. Very sad!

According to TMZ,  Shain Gandee, his 48-year-old uncle David Gandee, and a third unidentified body were discovered dead in the vehicle in Sissonville, West Virginia, and there were no signs of any type of foul play. Shain was last heard from around 3 AM on Sunday morning. Shain and his uncle were reportedly supposed to go 4-wheeling.  There  is still is no word on how their truck came to be stuck knee deep in the mud.

Here is a clip from the MTV show:

MTV  released a statement,

“We are shocked and saddened by the terrible news about Shain Gandee, and those involved in this tragic incident. We are waiting for more information but at this time, our main concern is for the Gandee family and their friends.”Our thoughts and prayers are with them. Shain had a magnetic personality, with a passion for life that touched everyone he met and we will miss him dearly.”

Reps  for MTV says, “Production of “Buckwild” has since been suspended.” There are also reports that the Mayor of the city where the troubled show is filmed would like the show to cease all together.

We offer our most sincere condolences to all affected by this sad incident.
