Former NFL star Chad Ochocinco has been released from prison earlier today after serving 7 days of a 30 day jail sentence. Last week a judge sentenced Chad to the slammer when he slapped his attorney on the butt in the middle of a probation hearing.
A somber Ocho walked into the courtroom and apologized to the judge for his actions. Broward County Circuit Judge Kathleen McHugh accepted Ocho’s apology and cut his 30-day jail term for a probation violation to the seven days he has already served since the booty-slapping incident.
Ocho expressed that he has had time to think about his actions and is now a changed man.
I just wanted to apologize for disrespecting the court last time. I apologize. I did have time to reflect on the mistakes I made in this courtroom.
