Orange County Animal Services and Kidzu Children’s Museum will be partnering during the month of August to offer fun art projects to kids who love animals or want to learn more about them.  Each Saturday in August, Kidzu will offer visitors the opportunity to create animal-themed art as a part of regular admission to the museum.  The art will be featured weekly on the Animal Services Facebook page and displayed at Kidzu.  Beginning in September, it will be on display at the Animal Services Center.

Kidzu is a museum geared toward children ranging from infants to 8-years-old that inspires learning through play.  They offer numerous programs and exhibits that allow kids to creatively explore a variety of subjects in a hands-on way.  Partnering with Animal Services and adding an animal-themed project allows children to learn about pets and animal issues in a fun and proactive way.

Kidzu is located at 123 W Franklin Street (Suite B) in the back of the University Square shopping center.  Programs run from 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. and pet-themed art will be incorporated into each Saturday program during the month (August 3, 10, 17, 24, and 31).  For directions, admission prices and contact information, please visit www.kidzuchildrensmuseum.org
