The judge in the emergency custody hearing for Tameka Raymond and Usher Raymond has dismissed the case upon hearing the testimony from both parties.

Earlier, Tameka broke down on the stand saying she wasn’t sure if her little boy suffered brain damage from the incident. Given what she has been through in the last year with the loss of her 11-year-old son to a water accident and the fact that brain damage was the source of why she lost him, you would have to be an unfeeling monster not to understand her trepidation with this current situation. No parent should ever have to bury a child. Just as no parent should ever have to be in an ICU watching their baby. Well, she’s been through both hellacious scenarios in the span of about a year or so and one of them twice now. It’s simply Unfathomable.

Here is some of her testimony via TMZ.

In the end the judge didn’t find reason to reverse the prior order.

Said Judge,

“What happened was an awful accident. I’m not certain that one person could have done any better than (aunt Rena)”

She and Usher did embrace after the ruling. Maybe now they can help little Usher V together as a united front. He will need BOTH of them to get through this ordeal unscathed. We hope this is a sign of something positive for the future…they can all use a little of that right now perhaps they could all use a lot.
