Chris Brown Released & Charges Reduced

It was chaotic scene outside the courtroom where Chris Brown was set to be arraigned, causing the singer’s case to be delayed for hours. Brown eventually appeared before a Washington, DC judge who reduced his charges from felony assault to misdemeanor assault.

Brown was involved in a scuffle outside the W Hotel this weekend after allegedly punching a man, Isaac Parker, in the face and causing damages. Parker claims he was simply photo-bombing Brown’s picture with a fan when Breezy attacked and hurled homosexual insults at him.

Brown’s account differs, which was the leading factor for his felony charge being dropped to a misdemeanor. Brown is sticking to his story that Parker tried to get on his tour bus and he was just stopping a trespass. It was his bodyguard who struck Parker causing a fracture to his nasal bone.

Brown’s mother Joyce attended the court date with her son’s close friend Trey Songz. Brown will face his misdemeanor charge in November.
