King Bey was scheduled to release her new single next month on the day after Jay-Z’s birthday, but it seems as though someone has gotten their hands on it and leaked it for us.
Mrs. Carter will be releasing a new album next year, but we can listen to new music now in the form of her new song “God Made You Beautiful”. Bey sings about her daughter Blue Ivy “When you were born, the angels sighed in delight/ They never thought they’d see such a beautiful sight,” sings an angelic-voiced Bey. “You took a breath and the world was right again/ Tears were shed, how I have been blessed/ And your love it shines so bright/ You bring me back to life, back to life/ You make everything right.”
Look for Bey’s documentary Life Is But a Dream to be released on DVD on November 25th.
