According to WRAL, UNC athletes are now under investigation, due to a recent CNN report of their troubling reading skills. The report focused on 183 athletes admitted to UNC between 2004-2012, about 60% were reading between 4th-8th grade levels, between 8-10% were reading below third-grade level. UNC’s head coach Roy Williams commented on the report, and said he didn’t believe that it was true.
