Dr. Dre is about to become Hip-Hop’s first billionaire because Apple is gearing up to purchase his Beats By Dre headphones for a reported $3.2 billion. The Wallstreet Journal are also reporting that Dre. and co-founder, Jimmy Iovine, will take on senior positions at Apple.
The WSJ does not specify what their positions will exactly be, but this way, Dre and Jimmy will still be largely involved with the best selling headphones.
