Jay Z and Beyonce kicked off their much anticipated “On The Run Tour” in Miami, FL on June 25th. The lovebirds put on a massive 42-song set! The musical lovebirds not only masterfully perform some of favorite collaborations of theirs like, “Crazy In Love,” “Upgrade Ya,” “Bonnie & Clyde,” “On The Run,” “Hollywood” and more, but they also do some of their best solo efforts and there’s even some amazing covers in there as well. Beyonce covers one of my favorite Lauryn Hill tunes, “Ex-Factor.”
One of the best moments in the show is when Beyonce and Jay are singing, “Forever Young” and footage from the top secret wedding back in 2008 plays on the big screen. We get to see the moment Jay placed the ring on Bey’s finger, them at the altar and more. There’s even more adorable moments with Bey and Blue Ivy.
This is only the beginning for this allstar tour, which will take this power couple all over the U.S., Canada and France. I can’t wait to see what else they reveal!
