Communities around our area will be celebrating National Night Out tomorrow, August 5th. The event is designed to heighten crime, drug prevention and safety awareness.National Night Out also strengthen police and community partnerships as well as generate support for, and participation in, local anti-crime programs. One event that will be taking place and sending a message to criminals letting them know that neighborhoods are organized and fighting back will be taking place at The Tarboro Road Center at 7PM located 121 N Tarboro Street in Raleigh. Come out and meet your neighbors while you enjoy a castle moon bounce, senior games, indoor children movies, arts&crafts tables, face painting, Wake County Book Mobile and a special youth table by Solid Waste Services. You also get to meet your neighborhood police officers and firemen. There will also be free food, and ice cream bar music and games for the entire family.
