Last night in Durham, about 100 people took to the Streets of Southpoint and marched to protest the recent decision by grand juries in Staten Island and Ferguson to not indict the two white police officers who killed two unarmed black men – Mike Brown and Eric Garner.

First the protestors went to Nordstroms for  “die-in” for 4.5 minutes in remembrance of Mike Brown, and to show that #Blacklivesmatter.

After the “die-in”, protestors took to the streets and blocked traffic on Fayetteville Rd and at least 10 were arrested.

The entire ordeal lasted about 40 minutes with many lying and kneeling in the roadway. No one was hurt.
