The final numbers are in and Nicki Minaj‘s third album The Pink Print is set for a #2 debut with 244,000 copies sold, which is higher than the initial estimates.
Of the tally, 194,000 accounts for actual sales and the other 50k comes from streams.
Preventing her from the top spot was Taylor Swift‘s 1989.
D’Angelo and The Vanguard’s Black Messiah debuted at No. 5 with 117,000 copies sold. Not bad for a 14-year hiatus with no promotion.
