Sony Pictures told North Korea to suck it after deciding to release their controversial film, The Interview, after pulling the film due to hacker threats – and are reaping the benefits.

The film, starring Seth Rogen and James Franco, took in nearly $20 million over 4 days, from Christmas day (Weds) through Saturday. About $15 million came from online streams and purchases, and $2.8 million grossed in theaters.

Sony said it’s the highest digital release in its history. Read their full press release (which is basically a middle finger to North Korea) below.
