The controversial material girl is at it again…

Queen of Pop, Madonna, offended just about everyone yesterday after posting altered pictures on her twitter account of civil rights leaders and activists, Martin Luther King Jr. and Nelson Mandela.

The album cover of Madge’s Rebel Heart album, which was mostly leaked ahead of time by hackers, shows the pop icon with black ropes on her face – as to symbolize her being a rebel, ready to break free.

After asking her fans to send photos of celebrities seen as rebels with the same black rope on their face, Madonna uploaded and posted pictures of the human rights leaders, which upset many, who didn’t appreciate her using them to promote her album.

Now, Madonna has come forward to apologize for using those images and also says that she’s not comparing herself. See her full statement posted on her official Facebook below:
