Mayweather Tells Fans: Pacquiao’s Delaying the Fight, Not Me

Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao are still hammering out the details of their hotly anticipated fight, which Mayweather is targeting for May 2nd, but the boxer says they’re still having delays. The Detroit-born athlete has been blamed for dragging his feet on finalizing the fight, but Mayweather put the blame on Pacquiao.

The undefeated champ uploaded a photo of him and Manny in a meeting with the caption, “I set up this meeting with Manny Pacquiao to get this fight done but they will continue to tell the public it’s us and that’s NOT TRUE.”

Lil Wayne Announces #FreeWeezy Album Amid Cash Money Drama

While Lil Wayne is currently in the midst of a major lawsuit against Cash Money, he is doing everything in his power to push the momentum for his release from the label which he was once proud to be a part of.

He’s been more than frustrated with the continuous delays of his long-overdue Tha Carter V album release, and now he has taken matters into his own hands and decided to release a free album to his fans. Just last month, Wayne released his Sorry 4 the Wait 2 mixtape, and now he’s gearing up to take things a step further and release an entirely free album in the wake of his Cash Money imprisonment.

Weezy made the announcement on Twitter that he’ll be dropping his next album, titled The Free Weezy Album, which will be free of charge in order to support his escape from the clutches of Cash Money.

Cash Money Records Birdman’s Tryin’ to Lil Wayne Me Too! Turk Drops New Lawsuit

It’s open season on Cash Money Records — rapper Turk of The Hot Boy$ is joining his homie Lil Wayne … filing a lawsuit against Birdman’s label for allegedly cheating him out of millions.

According to the suit, obtained by TMZ, Turk claims Birdman and Cash Money have done some shady accounting and kept the info on his real earnings under wraps … and he wants his money.

Looks like Turk and Weezy had a chat because Turk says the label broke its deal with him — and just like LW … he’s demanding a judge hand over rights to all of his music.

TMZ broke the story … Lil Wayne is going in on Cash Money for $51 million.

Turk wants the court to void his contract and give him at least $1.3 million in damages.

Bobby Shmurda’s $2 Million Bail Withdrawn; Still Incarcerated

20-year-old Ackquille Pollard a.k.a. Bobby Shmurda, will unfortunately be forced to remain behind bars for an uncertain amount of time, after his $2 million bail package was withdrawn.

Celebrity bail bondsman Ira Judelson initially put up the necessary funds to cover Shmurda’s bail, with his “management associates” putting up property as a form of collateral. Spokeswoman for the office of the special narcotics prosecutor in NYC, Kati Cornell, explained how Judelson withdrew from his promise to front the money for Bobby’s temporary freedom.

“It’s our understanding that the suretor has withdrawn and that no hearing is currently scheduled,” Ms. Cornell stated.

Luckily, there is still hope that young Shmurda will regain his freedom in the near future, regardless of how temporary that might be. His lawyer, Kenneth Montgomery, explained how he is aiming to get a new bail package locked down for Bobby as soon as possible.

“We’re trying to do a new bond application and are in the process in the figuring that out,” Mr. Montgomery said. “We’re hoping to get it done within the next week.”

Previously, Montgomery fired off about how many of the charges involved in this case don’t hold any real weight to back up the allegations set against his client.

“Bobby is not claimed to have shot anyone, he has no drug dealer weight on him. It’s simply a gun case and some phone conversations.”

We’ll keep you posted as more news of Bobby’s hopeful release comes to light in the near future.
