Mo’ne Davis, 13, is making BIG moves for herself!!! The Philadelphia Little League champion recently released several announcements for her fans.

It was just announced that Mo’ne will be launching a sneaker line as well as releasing a new book.

Disney Channel has also decided to cash in on her success by creating a biopic called “Throw Like Mo”, intended to give viewers an inside look into Davis’ amazing story.

Mo’ne holds the record as the very first Little Leaguer to be featured on the cover of Sports Illustrated. “Mo’ne is not only a top-notch athlete in three different sports — baseball, basketball and soccer, but she is an exemplary student and someone who will remind our audiences that they can do anything with hard work, dedication and belief in themselves,” said Disney Channel’s Vice President, Naketha Mattocks.

“We know her story will inspire audiences regardless of their age, culture or gender and I am thrilled to have Debra, Sheldon and Justin leading the charge to bring this movie to life.”

Emmy-nominated producer Debra Martin Chase (The Sisterhood Of The Traveling Pants,The Cheetah Girl movies, Lemonade Mouth) has been rumored to be the movie’s executive producer, while Sheldon Candis and Justin Wilson will be the writers (LUV and A Slave In The White House) along with espnW.

This is an exciting and well deserved moment for Mo’ne, one that will forever be an tremendous accomplishment in black history.
