Rapper, Webbie got baptized in a Louisiana church on Easter Sunday. He believes that he was called upon by Christ himself.
Webbie is attempting to do away with the gangster rapper persona that led to charges for drugs in 2011 and battery in 2012. Webbie decided to partake in the baptism following the minister’s request if anyone wished to be baptized.
He celebrated his newfound religion amongst friends and family over boiled crawfish.
Many rappers’ have gone down a similar religious path. Artists such as Bad Boy’s Loon and Mase are just two examples of worldly artists dedicating their life to an otherwise higher power.
This event left several people wondering, will this be the end of the “Bad B-tch” rapper’s secular career or will he still make trap music?
