Former NFL player, Adrian Robinson Jr., died Saturday, May 16.
He was only 25.
The tragic news was confirmed by his agency, Symmetry, via Twitter and Facebook on Sunday morning. “It deeply saddens all of us to share with you that Adrian Robinson Jr. passed away last night at the age of 25. Adrian was a beloved father, son, brother, friend, and teammate,” Symmetry wrote in a public statement.
According to Sports Illustrated, Robinson had recently signed with the Canadian Football League’s Hamilton Tiger-Cats.
A cause of death has not yet been released.

UPDATE: The Philadelphia medical examiner’s office informed The Denver Post that Robinson’s death has been ruled suicide by hanging. Philadelphia officials have declined further details regarding the case.
