Atlanta has debuted a variety of reality shows ranging from R&B divas, preachers’ wives and even doctors. Now it’s time to bare it all in the beauty shop as this new show, “Cutting It: In the ATL”, gives viewers a day-in-the-life of hair salon owners.
Five women share the spot light, four in which are salon owners with loads of experience in the hair industry and one who dreams of opening up her own salon in the near future. Their show “Cutting It: In the ATL” aired Thursday night, May 21 just after a shocking episode of “Braxton Family Values” at 10 p.m.
In typical reality show fashion, these women were cast cleverly for their dramatic personalities. The first episode kicks off with instant bickering and shade throwing amongst the salon owners. These frenemies are in constant competition with one another, in a race to be the most sought after salon in the ATL.
