Common gives his thoughts on the Confederate Flag and what it means for South Carolina to remove it from their statehouse grounds.
In regards to taking the flag down Com said “I think it’s definitely something that’s symbolic for us. That flag was representing a lot of things so to see that go away is definitely a gesture to say, ‘Man, we want to change the way people think about black people and change the way we’re conducting ourselves towards black people.’”
