Court documents filed in a civil lawsuit filed by the family of Bobbi Kristina Brown allege that she died after being injected with a toxic mixture of drugs by her boyfriend Nick Gordon. According to USA Today, attorneys from the Browns are gathering evidence for their case which includes accusations of battery, internal infliction, and Gordon transferring money from her account into his own without permission.
Gordon has denied all allegations and seems to be preparing to use his Fifth Amendment right and not answer any questions about the incident.
According to the response, lawyers say Gordon is arguing that continuing discovery, “his Fifth Amendment rights ‘are being implicated,’ ” and “seeks a blanket prohibition against Plaintiff asking him any questions in discovery.” The documents state that Gordon and his lawyers have made a number of statements to the press, discussed the case on TV and admits to some of the allegations in the lawsuit.
