The 2015 American Music Awards airs live tonight, November 22, at 8:00 PM ET on ABC, and we’ve compiled together all you need to know about the show – the performers, nominees etc.
Jennifer Lopez is hosting the show, which is taking place at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.
Performers include: Gwen Stefani, Alanis Morissette, Ariana Grande, Carrie Underwood, 5 Seconds Of Summer, Justin Bieber, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Leon Bridges, Demi Lovato, Walk The Moon, Coldplay, Selena Gomez, Nick Jonas, One Direction, Pentatonix, Celine Dion, The Weeknd.
There will also be a few duets from Meghan Trainor/ Charlie Puth, and Luke Bryan/Little Big Town’s Karen Fairchild, J. Lo is hitting the stage to perform as well.
Celine Dion is performing a special performance of Edith Liaf‘s “Hymne à L’Amour” in French for those who lost their lives from the terrorist attacks in Paris last week.
“We felt it was important to show our solidarity in light of the recent events in Paris and all around world,” show producer Larry Klein said in a statement to E! News. “Celine’s performance will help us express our feelings through song, when words do not suffice.”
Taylor Swift leads all nominees with 6, followed by Ed Sheeran and The Weeknd with five, respectively. Other big nominees include Sam Hunt, Nicki Minaj, Sam Smith, Meghan Trainor and Walk the Moon with three noms each.
