Last week Kendrick Lamar was presented with the award for Rap Album of the Year at the Grammys by Hip Hop icon Ice Cube. K. Dot took the stage and expressed his gratitude for the work that Cube’s group N.W.A. put in to lay the foundation for him.
Kendrick will not have the chance to return the favor because it has been announced that he will induce N.W.A. into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame on April 8th. The ceremony will take place in Brooklyn, NY at the Barclays Center. The N-Words with Attitudes will join Cheap Trick, Deep Purple, Chicago and Steve Miller as this year’s Hall of Fame inductees.
The entire ceremony will air on HBO on April 30th.
