Waist Gang Society, a waist trainer company owned by reality tv star PremaDonna is being sued. Famous people like Amber Rose and Kim Kardashian have endorsed PremaDonna’s trainers but some folks weren’t as happy!! A group of women are suing the company claiming that the product is falsely advertised and it doesn’t do what the owners say it does. According to TMZ:
The women are griping over Waist Gang Society, the company that manufacturers the Reshaping waistshaper.
The company touts that the product “burns fatty tissue by making you sweat, targets the back, torso, waist and abdomen areas.”
The Waist Gang Society’s website features countless photos of Kim, Kourtney, Kylie, andKhloe wearing the corset. The girls, who were not sued, sing the praises of the product on social media.
The lawsuit claims the advertising for the product is misleading, quoting a doctor who says, “Corsets do not cause you to permanently lose fat in the midsection: they cause a re-distribution of the fat and organs in the trunk.” It promises to give consumers an hourglass figure, but it seems for the women suing it’s mission not accomplished.
