A Texas man has been convicted of raping his 23-month-old niece and a 14-year-old girl and infecting them both with HIV. The man, David Wilson is a repeat sex offender who was charged with super aggravated sexual assault of a child. This week a judge sentenced Wilson to life in prison.
Wilson had become a registered sex offender when he was convicted of sexual assault of a child in 2005. He served four years in prison.
The 14-year-old girl told a caseworker at the Children’s Assessment Center in 2014 that she had been having sex with Wilson for two years, and said she was pregnant.
She was found to be HIV positive and was diagnosed with herpes and chlamydia, according to the station.
A doctor said testing revealed that the baby, the daughter of Wilson’s sister, “had to have been sexually assaulted” because she had HIV, herpes and chlamydia.
The baby’s parents are believed to have lived out of state and battled drug problems, ABC 13 reported. They reportedly sent their daughter to live with family members in Houston.
