Two years ago, Rick Ross and one his producers sued pop duo LMFAO for copyright infringement on their song “Party Rock Anthem,” claiming that the phrase “everyday I’m shufflin’” is a little too similar to his chorus of his breakout single “Hustlin’.” Though the Miami rapper filed for copyright registrations several times, a judge decided to reject his case due to the inaccuracies in the applications. Janet Jackson‘s fans were disappointed earlier this week after she announced she is postponing her Unbreakable tour dates. Now, a statement released by Live Nation is saying that her tour will be postponed until next year. New dates will be announced closer to the tour’s beginning. In light of the fans’ brief frustration with Ticketmaster, they ticket holders now have the option of either holding on to their tickets for next year or getting a full refund. [Billboard]
