Last week it was reported that George Zimmerman was attempting to sell the gun that he used to kill Trayvon Martin through an online auction site (Click HERE if you missed that). The auction was sabotaged by folks who drove the final bid up to $65 million (click HERE if you missed that).
TMZ is reporting that the gun was finally sold this week through a verified bidding process for $120,000
We’re told roughly 7 verified users participated in the bidding war. Zimmerman has to verify the winner and his or her funds before the sale is finalized. The top bidder is anonymous at this point, due to the auction site’s rules.
SMH at whoever the sick individuals were who would want to purchase this gun!
