Minnesota Vikings running back, Adrian Peterson is expected to miss a minimum of 3-4 months as he recovers from surgery to repair his torn meniscus. Peterson suffered the injury Sunday night, but had been expected to avoid surgery and miss perhaps only a couple of games. While he hasn’t been officially declared out for the season, this is devastating news for the Vikings, as they looked like serious contenders in Sunday’s win over the Packers.
