Everyone and their mamma has been watching the New Edition movie on BET this week. The film has had huge success with over 4.4 million viewers during the first chapter of the three part series. This is the highest rated BET premiere in over five years.
The numbers will jump even higher when cable providers report the number of people who watched the show via DVR and once illegal video streams are accounted for. The film should cross the 15 million views mark once all of the numbers are tabulated.
