Back in 2011, Future signed with Rocko‘s A1 Recordings, but things took a turn for the worst after Rocko accused Future of breaching their contract and filed a $10 million lawsuit.
Well, reports are saying that the case has now settled, and Future has agreed to fork over royalties from his next 2 albums, as well as 50% of tour sales for the next two years.
That’s not all.. Future must pay Epic records back the advance they gave him and a % of any forthcoming deals.
Future has settled lawsuits against him by Rocko and Ciara. After signing a record deal with Rocko’s A1 Recordings in 2011, Future breached the contract and is being sued for management and finders fees.
Future and Epic reportedly agree to give all royalties from his next two albums to Rocko. In addition to the albums, Future will also give Rocko 50% of all touring revenues for the next two years. In order for LA Reid and Epic to recoup the advance that they will forfeit while Future pays Rocko back, Future signed a 360 agreement with LA. To pay Epic back, Future will give a percentage of any deals made outside of music to Epic until his back advancements are paid or for the next five years, whichever comes first. LA and Epic will also be collecting on the front end on all of Future’s music ventures.
