It’s no secret that Rick Ross and Birdman have had some rough times in the past. When Drake and Meek Mill went through their feud in 2015, Ross threw jabs at Drake who was signed by Birdman. Of course Birdman wouldn’t take that lightly and ever since then, the friendship has been on thin ice. Rick Ross is dropping his new album, Rather You Than Me, which he sat down with Billboards to discuss recently. There is a track on the album titled “Idols Become Rivals” that allegedly is dedicated to Birdman.
“I’ve got a record titled ‘Idols Become Rivals’ and it’s basically me writing a letter to someone in the game that I looked up to damn near the most and I hate what things have come to…I’m just really ready for these records to get into the streets so that people can hear the excitement in my voice and the music.”
Ross’s new album is scheduled to drop on March 17, 2017.
