When Drake won the award for Top Billboard 200 Album for Views at the 2017 Billboard Awards a few week ago his acceptance speech included a peace offering to rapper Ludacris. While many people didn’t even remember that the two had an issue, Drake said “I know we haven’t always seen eye-to-eye but I’ve always been a big fan of yours, man, I got a lot of love for you,” he said. “I wanna let you know that while I’m still here.”

In a recent interview Luda revealed that he and Drake had already spoken and squashed the beef. He said “We had a conversation before he even did that,” and confirmed that the two have no problems and “everything is good”between them.

The beef between the two rappers started in 2010 when Drake claimed to have perfected rap’s “punchline” style flow, and used a Ludacris lyric from “My Chick Bad” as an example of a corny punchline. Ludacris responded to Drake in the diss track “Bada Boom.”

Its good that these two have squashed their beef.
