Jay-Z took a lot of shots at people on his new album 4:44. One of the targets of those shots was Rev. Al Sharpton. Jay dropped the line “Al Sharpton in the mirror takin’ selfies/ How is him or Pill Cosby s’posed to help me?” on the song “Family Feud”. This was in reference to the recent viral photo of Sharpton getting ready to go to the gym.
TMZ caught up with Rev. Al and he told them his response. Al said “For a 62-year-old man to go viral ’cause he’s on his way to work out — it’s flattering.” He also added that he want’s Jay to keep putting him in his raps.
