#Forever21 is being sued by #Gucci after the fashion house accused them of infringing on their famed green-red-green stripe trademark. They initially asked Forever 21 to stop producing items with either the blue-red-blue or green-red-green stripes. The brand didn’t discontinue any designs and instead requested protection against the trademark of “a parallel stripe design of alternating bands colored blue-red-blue and green-red-green.”

In addition to this, Forever 21 petitioned for the court to permit their use of the colored stripes as well as dismiss Gucci’s trademarks. However, y’all know that Gucci is not having that! They filed two counterclaims on Tuesday–one in which they petitioned for Forever 21’s complaints to be dismissed and the other was for trademark infringement, trademark dilution, and unfair competition.

“Gucci has today taken steps to finally put an end to U.S. mass retailer Forever 21’s blatant exploitation of Gucci’s famous and iconic blue-red-blue and green-red-green stripe webbing trademarks,” Gucci wrote in a statement to Refinery 29.
