Friday evening it was announced that Jerry Richardson, Owner of NFL team the Panthers, would undergo an investigation, due to workplace misconduct. Well, amid the allegations, Jerry Richardson announced Sunday that he plans to sell the team at the end of this season.
Looks like Diddy is trying to get in non the action. He tweeted “I would like to buy the @Panthers. Spread the word. Retweet!” and released a video letting Carolina residents know that he would be the best owner for the team. He gives a pretty good list of perks including great half-time shows, a Super Bowl win, and signing Colin Kaepernick!
I don’t know about you, I would love to see Diddy buy the Panthers. He definitely is giving a good pitch and I think he deserves to join the “Good ole boys club.” Purchasing the team would make Diddy the first African-American majority owner of a NFL team. So he would definitely be adding some flavor to the mix! I guess we’ll have to wait and see how this plays out, but I’m totally here for it! The Live Squad is rooting for you, Diddy!
