Last month, Chris Brown released a video with his daughter, Royalty, playing with his pet capuchin monkey. Well, the singer got a lot of back fire for it and many people went as far as contacting the California Department of Fish and Wildlife.
According to TMZ, Brown could now be facing criminal charges after an investigation revealed that he never obtained a permit for his new pet. Officials got a search warrant, but Chris agreed to give up the monkey, before they were able to invade his home.

If charged, Breezy could be facing up to six months in jail. However, Chris Brown’s attorney says “As I leave my office in Downtown L.A. and walk past people sleeping on the street on my way to defend people charged by the Citry Attorney with selling medical marijuana…now spending tax payer money on investigating monkey business, this completes the circle on his absurdity.”
Hopefully, since he gave of the monkey he won’t have to face charges, but you know we will definitely let you know if he does, Live Squad!
