With all of their involvement in social issues, T.I. and Killer Mike have become vital voices in our culture and especially in Atlanta. That’s why it comes as no surprise that the two rappers have taken a new role in politics.

The new mayor of Atlanta, Keisha Lance Bottom, has appointed both Killer Mike and T.I. to be a part of her 30 member advisory team. Bottom says, ” I am grateful to announce this 30-strong transition team. it represents a tremendous amount of diversity and depth, and really the best and the brightest in the city of Atlanta.”
Congrats to the two rappers for securing a seat at the political table! We can’t wait to see the change this brings!
