Back in October 2016 Mariah Carey was scheduled to perform two shows in Argentina and Chile, but there were canceled.. Carey ended up suing the promoters for failure to pay her in full and blamed them for damaging her brand after being forced to cancel the show.
On the flip side- the promoters- FEG Entretenimientos S.A., are accusing her of a no-show without any prior notice and are seeking $500,000 in damages per show that she missed. These people are also running Mariah’s pockets for at least another $2 million for defamation.
