Tuesday morning, yet another tragic school shooting took place, but this time in Maryland. It has been reported that three of the students at Great Mills High School have been shot, with one of the students being the gunman. The gunman has been pronounced dead, however the other two students are currently in critical condition.
According to St. Mary’s County Sheriff, Timothy K. Cameron, the shooting happened after classes started at 8 am and the victims in critical condition have been identified as one female and one male student. The shooter’s identity is currently being withheld but the Sheriff says, “As soon as the shots were fired the school’s resource officer quickly engaged the shooter.”
Students were relocated to another school, where parents can reconnect with their students.
