Chance The Rapper continues to do positive things to inspire future generations. Next month Chance will deliver a commencement address to the 2018 graduating class of Dillard University in New Orleans

School officials chose Chance to deliver the commencement address due to his success as an independent music artist, activism, his faith, and his clean cut image.

Dillard president Dr. Walter M. Kimbrough released a statement saying “He’s not signed but a multiple Grammy winner. He’s the artist your grandmother would love.” Dr. Kimbrough has been trying to get Chance to speak at the university for the last two years.

On Saturday May, 12 over 200 graduates will get the chance to hear what Chance has to say as he delivers the speech in front of a packed house.
