Monday night, a slew of celebrities stepped out in their best looks to attend the Met Gala, including soon to be mom, Cardi B, and her fiance Offset. Well, according to TMZ, this year there was a little drama and now NYPD is investigating Cardi B’s security team.
So, what happened? Well, supposedly when Bardi was leaving a fan became very persistent on getting an autograph, after she had already said no. Video footage then shows the fan saying “I’m an autograph hound” and after being stomped out by a group of guys, who is alleged to be the rap star’s security team.
Before being transported to the hospital, the fan told cops, 3 body guards shoved him to the ground and started beating him up. The victim was treated for neck and back pain.
There is footage of at least one of the individuals, involved in the beat down, with Cardi’s fiance and his group, Migos, earlier in the evening. Police say they are investigating, so make sure you stay tuned for updates, #LiveSquad!
